I'm confused...I thought Buspar was one of the few "CrazyMeds" that didn't cause weight gain, but a pharmacist just told me that any medications in "that class" can. That's confusing as I thought Buspar was in a class all it's own.

Anyways, I'm thinking of trying it more to appease my pdoc than anything else as I know most people feel it doesn't do anything...but I don't want to take ANYTHING that is going to cause weight gain. If it just causes increased desire to eat I'll be fine, because I'm obsessive compulsive about what I eat. But if it's like Zyprexa where you gain and gain no matter what you do, I don't want to touch it.

Can anyone enlighten me?
