hello i have been taking adderall ir for 5 years only name brand ,now with barr making both name brand and generic their name brand is not at all the same as when i was taking it from the other manufacter shire. i have called them but they say it has the same active ingredents no way.this sucks and i didnt get them from walgreens,but i used to and had no problems.what are we to do now.

YEAH PHARMA COMPANYS DO FUCK UP THE CHEMISTRY ON PILLS I DONT CARE WHAAT ANY ONE SAYS. I GOT 60 20MG GENERIC ADDERALL MADE BY COR PHARMA AND NOT ONE OUT OF THAT BOTTLE DID ANYTING EVEN GAVE SOME TO MY FRIENDS THAT TAKE ADDERALL AND KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT AND WOW DID NOTHING TO THEM EITHER.

That explains so much! I've been taking d-amphetamine for about 4 months now, and it seems like each time I get the script filled, it's a different product (often different stores w/i the same chain). This time I got the little pink pills and it was HORRIBLE! Just like you said, I was speedy and would spend forever trying to write a simple e-mail. Last month the same script was filled with orange pills and were perfect. The dose was correct, it came on smooth and delivered for the expected time, and didn't kill me when I was coming down.
I started to think something was wrong with me. I'm going to go back to the store where I got the good ones. Thanks for the heads up. Just say no to the little pink pill!

I am not saying I don't agree with the majority of previous postings but FYI Adderall is sometimes prescribed to individuals experiencing atipical reactions to medications normally prescribed for depression or similar disorders. Sometimes the stimulant properties of drugs such as Adderall, or even Wellbutrin (aka an atypical antidepressant) are significantly helpful in treating certain indiviuals suffering from disorders within this spectrum. Definetely agree with the eating-disorder theory but there is a lot more to it.

I should hope it did kick in. Ive been taking it for about 6 months and sometimes I get the non-generic form from my pharmacy I find I like the generics better.
