Hi All,

I am a male taking Klonopin .5mg and WellbutrinSR 200mg. and I am having problems with delayed orgasms (about as bad as it was on SSRIs).

I've read that Wellbutrin is not supposed to cause any sexual dysfunction, but is it possible the Klompoin is causing the problem?

Thanks,
Brian

it is possible, i think. i never had a problem with wellbutrin, and never heard of it ever doing that (in fact, it could enhance sex).. klonopin could cause sedation which might lead to decreased interest or climax ability... i didnt have any problems but thats just me

I don't know if it is possible or not, but I've been taking Klonopin daily at various dosages for nearly 8 years and it's never caused any orgasmic problems for me. I am male as well. Now SSRIs and TCAs, on the other hand, would require a good 30 minutes or more, provided I didn't completely give up out of sheer exhaustion, frustration, or loss of interest.
Dx: BP1 with psychotic features
Rx: Seroquel 400mg, haloperidol 5mg prn and clonazepam 2mg. Non MI meds: Lipitor 20mg.

Talk to the physician who prescribed you these medicines and let him/her know that you are having such problems because of these medicines.
