I was searching for members, and I noticed that the field for filtering by AIM screenname was missing, even though MSN, Skype, Jabber, etc were all there. So I went into my control panel to see if the option to set AIM screennames was still there, and it wasn't. However, the screenname that I set back when we were on the old forums is still visible from my profile.

That is odd.

Look again. It's there, under "advanced filters" it's the first one on the list.

Strangely enough, it's not. The fact that it appears for you and not for me is VERY interesting. (screenshot attached, hope i'm not making an ass of myself here)

No. It's not

Double checked it with member POV and it's not. I think members can't see it for some reason and admins can. [don't know about mods.]

I just checked in my controls, and I have the AIM thingy. So moderators must all have it, right?

What is it?

But oddly the "favorite bird" field is showing up in that screenshot, which it shouldn't for regular members (if memory serves me right), since it was added as an anti-bot feature, not anything serious, and I'm pretty sure it was previously hidden to members...

Yeah, I have it too.
One only needs two tools in life: WD-40 to make things go, and duct tape to make them stop.

No, no, no. You're doing it all wrong! It comes after the other two, not in between.
