I'm just physically not a very burpy person. Even if I drink a whole bunch of pop, no burps. So does that mean I'm safe from the fish oil burp stank everyone complains about? Or is it going to be there somehow, some way, regardless?

DX: Bipolar II with psychotic and borderline tendencies, multiple anxiety disorders, PMDD.

Meds: Lithium 1200mg, Seroquel (as low a dose as I can get away with), clonazepam as needed, birth control pills for PMDD (it took a year for them to stat helping, but they finally helped!).

Probably not. You won't know until you try.

I've found that freezing the fish oil caps helps with the fish burps.

I take 6 soft gels and I have never had a fish burp or anything else.

nf
Psyc meds: Wellbutrin XL 450 mg, Abilify 5 mg, Provigil 200 mg, Lunesta 6 mg, LTG 300 mg, Propanolol 20-40 mg/day
Dx: MDD, ADD inattentive, GAD, Insomnia, Temporal Lobe Epilepsy, Dyspraxia/Dysgraphia, tremor
PRN's: Doxepin 25 to 75 mg at bedtime, Lorazepam 1 to 2 mg/day,
Supps: Omegas, Multi-vitamin/mineral

seems like what comes in, must come out - in fact.. if i eat a spicy lunch and then go for a run, the spicy smells come out thru my pores!! yuck

I dig microalgae. No aftertaste. But I don't take the stuff for mood stabilization. And it's pricey. Deva brand is the best bang for your buck.
My main issues: hypomania, agitated depression, obessions without compulsions, body image problems, trauma

If you're concerned about the fish smell, eat some bread after you take the fish oil.
Dx: Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, anxiety NOS, depression NOS
Rx: Ritalin three times daily 30mg-20mg-10mg; citalopram 30mg every evening; zopiclone as needed
Failed: Concerta, Cymbalta, Vyvanse
