Yeah... It would be awesome to put our diagnoses as our post-nominal... This would show how "important" we are...

a few things to consider, though they've probably already gone through your brain...

--frequently a diagnosis is a work in progress...something that a provider thinks you might have, but isn't completely sure about
--it's fortunately not a contest...having more or less doesn't really matter. what matters is how you're handling them and if you're seeking help
--and on that note, a lot of diagnosing is designed to help you get more appropriate treatment--different things work better for people with different illnesses, and different illnesses present different concerns for providers. so, although it might seem frightening or stressful, which is understandable, it's designed to make life easier and better in the long run.
--above all, you're still you. regardless of what labels get tossed onto you, you fundamentally exist underneath all of them. so try to focus on your own awesomeness and not on the labels.
some variation of: bipolar NOS, adjustment disorder w/ mixed mood and anxiety components; or MDD w/ anxiety. still a dx in progress, I guess. Some trauma elements.

current RXs: Effexor (150 mg), Ativan (0.5 mg am, 1 mg pm), Lamictal (250 mg); levothyroxine and
birth control.

Past Rxs: zoloft (no significant effect); lexapro (went up to 20 mg but hit an anxiety/akathesia problem); wellbutrin; seroquel; ambien (worked wonderfully); Risperdal (great when needed, but gradually went off now that stability happened in order to decrease total drug use)
