can't upload new avatar don't know why. It fits the image requirements

I checked to make sure and my avatar image (another small yahoo avatar picture) is within the limits being set but it won't upload it. I tried removing the avatar and uploading the new one, but then the old one shows up again. I find this to be a little odd since it's the same pixel size (48x48) and no larger than 5kb.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Let's clarify:

Is it not uploading? Or uploading but not showing?

Usually it doesn't show immediately. If so:

Try

Refresh page

close browser and reopen

clear browser cache, refresh page, close/reopen browser.

It ought to work after one of those. a.m.

Here are the avatar guidelines:

Your avatar must be no bigger than 150 pixels by 150 pixels in size.
Uploaded avatars from your computer must be no larger than 50 KB.
The following file types are allowed: jpg,jpeg,png

If you're getting an error when you upload, post the error you're getting. If you don't get an error, hit shift+refresh on your browser or clear out your cache.
