This is my intro, so i'm not a complete lurker. Nice to find a site that isn't obsessed with cuddly and being politically correct. I'm diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder and Generalized Depression, my therapist suspects BPD. Started out on Zoloft when I was 16. Took a wild pukey ride on Effexor and Trazadone before settling on Celexa, meditation, and stay away from toxic people therapy. I have a 3 year old daughter, 2 cats, and 2 dogs, so my house is a lovely and cheerful zoo. I live with my mother and sister, very excellent people. I'm very impressed with the level of rationality and research on this board, so glad I found it.

The Relevant Basics:
Diagnosis - Depression
Current psych meds - fluoxentine
Previous psych meds - Zoloft (worked), Celexa (didn't work), Effexor XR (worked); neither Zoloft nor Effexor XR worked the second time around; Lexapro worked but made me want to sleep 12 hours a day; chlorpromazine and benzos make me feel more depressed and leave me with a "hangover"

I'm glad that you found CB and found aspects that you like about it. Welcome.
some variation of: bipolar NOS, adjustment disorder w/ mixed mood and anxiety components; or MDD w/ anxiety. still a dx in progress, I guess. Some trauma elements.
current RXs: Effexor (150 mg), Ativan (1 mg daily; lorazepam), Lamictal (250 mg; lamotrigine); Halcion (triazolam); levothyroxine (75 mcg) and birth control.
Past Rxs: zoloft (like a sugar pill); lexapro (hit an anxiety/akathesia problem); wellbutrin; seroquel; ambien; risperdal
