hi.

Not too good at this whole introduction thing lol.

I have PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and DID (dissociative identity disorder - formally known as multiple personality disorder) due to some traumatic events in my past. I also suffer from agarophobia, self-harm and an eating disorder...
I have a total of 7 alters (that I know of), I am the "core" or "origignal" and my name is Hazel. I am a mental health and abuse activist, and to be honest there's not much more to me than that lol. I'm 22 and live with my partner who is a student, I don't have a family (they disowned me) and I rarely socialise as my mental health makes that hard, but my work does keep me very busy so that's ok :)
Though I have to admit sometimes I do just wish I could be "Normal" and like everyone else...
We have DID (dissociative identity disorder) which is why we sometimes speak in plural, sometimes in 3rd person and sometmes as singular... sorry for any confusion

We are: Hazel, Michelle, Sarah, Rachel, Jenny, Jess, Faith and Ivy

hazel you are welcome here and we are glad to have you . it is a beauty thing that you have a work ethic that keeps your nose to the grindstone despite the emotional and mental disruption that you have suffered . i imagine that you will gain some insight by reviewing other's posts that parallel your mental condition . all in all it is a real fine place to hang about .
plenty meds, drugs and mental troubles in the past 40 years. no end in sight for depression.

Nice to have you here, Hazel. I'm sure there's more to you than you say! These boards are really great and I would encourage you to stick around for a while. I love it here. It's good that you have something to keep you busy and I'm sorry that you are suffering with these things right now.

I'm sure you'll find plenty of people to relate to here and the blogs are great to rant and vent in.

I hope to see you around here more! I was really shy at first, that passes.

I wish I was more normal too, I think everyone here does.

Glad you found us!

The Emperor said "I wish I was more normal too, I think everyone here does."

Yes, we all wish the Emperor was more normal!

Aside from that, welcome Shadowlight Hazel - and alters.
(All your alters sound female. Not an alter boy amongst them. Should we read anything into that? )

Hope you find this a safe place - and maybe sometimes fun.

I think cats can be more 'human' than some humans!
Sorry your 'Him' was such a negative.
