Evil twin problem

I got disconnected from chat, and when I tried to log back in I got

"Access Denied. The name you entered is already in use. Enter a different user name."

Which I don't seem to be able to get around from my end.
What is my evil twin saying to people in there, if anything?

Help please, anyone with the power...
(but not critically urgent, as I'm done with chat for tonight (but apologies to anyone who thinks I went into a sudden silent sulk.))

That used to happen to me. Usually I'd just PM one of the mods who I knew was in chat and ask them to boot me.

This happens every so often to a lot of people - including me. Sometimes the program doesn't register that you logged out and won't let you back in. If you do nothing, it will reset itself in 20-30 minutes max, and you should be able to sign in. The PM idea is the easiest one. If you happened to notice a mod who is active in chat at the time, we can boot your name so that you can get back in.
