Greetings,

I fit well in many threads here. I am 42 year old Executive Chef. I am an alcoholic, I am addicted to woman, cigarettes, sex, and I have an eating disorder since I was 13, I binge and purge about 3 or 4 times daily. I aslo cant seem to maintain friends and family. I am extremely lonely and miserable. I have been known to play three woman at a time. I have deep rooted issues I know. Game time is over and I know I need to settle myself down and it will not be easy. I know there is hope for me I just need to "want" it. I have been on meds, in and out of crisis centers, homeless shelters, jail the penitentary and so on. I am always on the move, from state to state. I have finally settled for a year here in Ohio. I know that there are others that hurt like I do and I hope to gain wisdom and knowledge here, and quite possibly make a friend or two. Am I insane, no however many say I am. I am just a broken man.

JW, I don't think anyone around here likes to think of this crowd as insane. Most of us are Mentally Interesting, so you will fit right in.

I'm glad you found us and I hope we can offer support and information to you. However, with your addictions, ED and relationship issues, I'm sure you realize that you should be working with a therapist and a psychiatrist. We can't offer that kind of professional treatment in this forum.
