Is Chat acting up for others too?

It seems to be taking forever to load and it's not showing avatars for people, just chat staff. I got in earlier for awhile but it still took ages to load, anyone else having trouble starting today?

Current Meds: Abilify 30 mgs, Wellbutrin XL 150 mgs, Trazadone 200 mgs, lorazepam PRN, Lovastatin 20 mgs, Vasetec 5 mgs, Robaxin 750 mgs, & hydrocodone 10/325 mgs

Current Dignosises: Bipolar II, PTSD, GAD, & Chronic Pain

Something must be going on because there are only 4 or 5 people logged on to chat. I've never seen the number that low before. At one point a bunch of people all exited at the same time. That usually means something is up. What that something is, is anyone's guess.

Sometimes, you just have to put on your big girl panties and deal with it.

That's kinda what I thought too, that there has to be something going on because there just aren't enough people in chat right now and it's prime chatting time. Thanks for posting sylvan!

It works fine for me. The board was down for a couple of hours earlier today and that might have knocked off a few of the lurkers.

I am having trouble in IE 8 VE, it's not letting me type anything, the spot where you click and type never lets me click away that starting text...And it's taking up to two minutes to load before I see the room...What could be going wrong? I've cleared my cache and cookies, so i am at a loss as to what could be going on...Help? <BR><BR>Also happening in FireFox...

delete the applet. it's under java settings in your control panel. another windows person is going to have to give you tips.

No it didn't work, stupid java update was the problem, luckily I still had the previous version saved so I could uninstall the one that was wigging out on chat and reinstall the working one. Honestly I thought updates were supposed to IMPROVE things...Unreal...What a frustrating period of time this was for me...All better now though.
