Hey everyone,
I'm on risperdal 1mg every night at bed time. Here's my deal : I'm also on Tegretol which apparently lowers the plasma levels of risperdal. For me, this might be a good thing as I am worried about the possible infertility problems I have heard can go along with risperdal. Does anyone have any solid info (websites, etc.) that outline the possible infertility effects risperdal can have, and at what dosages these might occur? I definitely want to be having children in the near future and infertility is something I cannot handle.
Thanks so much!

Yep, it was fine this month and this was the first month I was on the risperdal.
So you're not infertile now.
As for solid websites discussing infertility and risperdal, the results were...not what you were asking for. A search on Pubmed for articles containing the words, "risperidone," and, "infertility," yielded one article, an abstract that did not mention dosages.
Sorry.
