Look gang,
Buying meds over the internet is a shaky deal. You don't really know who you are dealing with, or where the meds are coming from, let alone whether they are real.  And lord knows who can get their hands on your credit card number.

If they are willing to send you meds without a prescription, or controlled substances, better start looking real hard at the situation. A number of audits have found that a high percentage of meds coming into the country are counterfit.  Who knows what is in them.

I'll give Jerod his due.  He has done a ton of research on psych meds, and has experience buying over the internet.  So I'll let him speak on that:

weird -- i thought i had posted some thoughts about this topic (no foreign pharmacies, if price is too good to be true that's a flag, other cautions, no class 2) + FDA does have some good things to say about the benefits of legit online pharmacies ... friends & I have done some research/some experience in this regard, no longer have health care so good ones can be a godsend! .... hmmm.... oh well i must have forgotten to post it.  sheesh.

yep losing my mind alright.

It might have been in one of the topics that got buried, or that needed to be
reworked/trimmed for various reasons. The Crazymeds link covers many of the same points you do. So this may have just been content consolidation.

You have a very solid point with using recommendations from friends and
pooling your personal experiences.

With online companies I'm not sure of, I'll place a smaller order by credit
card and watch for extra transactions on that card. (One of those set-
limit/refillable/limited-use cards would be better for this). If the company
can handle small orders responsibly, chances are they'll pay as much or
more attention to larger orders. And, I've then already got them bookmarked
for the next time I need one of their products. (This isn't limited to meds, btw)

I'd add that front-page specials on weight-loss and sexual potency pills could be
considered another warning sign. Not that *I* need such things.  B)
