Today I'm grateful for.......

After seeing my new pdoc and things not going as I had expected I was feeling very emotional and negativity started to take over a bit as I pondered on my life.

SO I started to think about what was good in my life and thought that it would be good if we could focus on even ONE small thing that we are grateful for each day

And today I'm grateful for:

  1. college and my class mates for being a distraction after my appointment
  2. my 2 dogs who gave me a wonderful greeting when I got in this evening, as always
  3. my mother who is a great support

I am really grateful that I made a big pot of soup on the weekend so that I have something to eat all week without having to cook. I make a damn good soup, too.

Today I'm grateful for:

1. my boyfriend for being a lovely person.

2. my medieval tutor for writing me a lovely email saying that I did well on my essay.

I can't think of a third thing right now. Things are a bit of a struggle at the moment, but I'm doing my best to stay positive.

1. I had a constructive couple of hours writing my essay for college.

2. Even though I felt like shit this morning, I was able to go out this afternoon and enjoyed a nice cup of coffee.

3. The weather was nicer today than it was over the last couple of days, not too cold but still cold enough.

Today I had the best first day at a new college that I could possibly have had! (I wrote all about it in my blog)

I love my college and I love my class.

I am taking just one course this semester. Its Nutrition. 50 minutes 3 days a week.

Yipppeeee!

As always, my husband, who heard "bipolar" from my doc in 2008, and forgave everything, and he always has my crazy back

The band Cherry Poppin' Daddies, who I just found a couple of months ago. Their music has brought so much fun into my life.

I'm going to try and do this everyday. Today I'm grateful for:'

1. My tutor deciding not to quiz us on grammar this week.

2. The weather, because it's slightly warmer, which means golf won't be as intolerably cold this weekend.

3. The fact that I have the whole day off from now.

  3. The weather being mild, therefore the roads are not slippy making my 1 hour commute to college an easy trip!!!!!

Today I am grateful for my girl and my hubby,

valium, for making sure I don't strangle the cat

my pdoc for suggesting aplenzin 522 mg. which seems to be working so far

a washer and dryer

N. for giving my husband a bag of various assorted beans every year for christmas

and olga, for making bean soup last week.

Today I'm grateful:

  1. That it's the end of the week and I have a few days off college
  2. For my class tutor who knows I have bipolar and is very supportive
  3. For Kitty my cat who snuggled into me when I got in from college this afternoon and proceeded to entertain me with her crazy "happy hour" antics!!!

1. That I have finally decided that I am going to apply for the next level of my course (though unfortunately I will have to wait until Monday because I could only find a telephone number on their website and no email address :wall: )

2. That I have realised that there is only a small amount of research I need to do for my next essay, because I can use a lot of what I already have.

3. That I got up this morning without feeling like I was going to collapse if I stood up (unlike last 2 days).
