I'm thinking about going to the doctor first to get my hormones tested, then if that comes out fine lowering the dose of Lexapro, because I'm not sure that this is all Lexapro's fault. And then if lowering the dose doesn't work...what do I do then? Once again, I apologize for the number of posts I have made on this subject. I must sound like a broken record.
This is so annoying. Personally, thanks to my dampened drive/libido I don't even miss sex or sexual feelings that much. But it's not fair to my boyfriend (LONG-term, live in boyfriend of six years, mind you, not someone I just started dating yesterday.) And it feels so weird to have the sexual functioning of an 80 year old woman at 26.

HWF: how long have you been on 300 mg of WB? It seems it should be working by now---plus you are on kind of a low dose of Lexapro (I took 20 mg with the only SE being delayed orgasm).
Good idea to have your hormones checked. Hopefully your doctor will have more "tricks" to try.

I agree with Diane. When I was taking the Lex only 10mg I was having the most fantastic orgasms.... We need to know how long you've been on both. I'm going to get my testosterone levels tested. Someone suggested testoterone cream to increase libido. I forget who mentioned this but her levels were low and adding the cream brought her orgasma back. Totally worth a try if you ask me.

On a side not I've been back on Cymbalta for 3 weeks now. I feel great but no Orgasms again....

Maybe some day.

I've been taking Lexapro for ~10 months and moved up to 300mg of WB about 5 weeks ago, so I guess it hasn't been that long. The reason I suspect Lexapro is playing a role is that it seemed like my sexual functioning worsened every time I raised the dose.

That will definitely happen.
