As mentioned in some other wraps, i am going to be heading off on a long 12 hour bus trip with co-workers. I sometimes get carsick and am sure that i will feel anxious. So I am considering talking Dramamine with Xanax. Anyone have any experience with this combonation? My therapist seems to think it will only put me to sleep, which would be fine with me.

The old Dramamine used to knock me on my ass and made me a zombie when I woke up. From what I understand, the new Dramamine on the market isn't as sedating as the old. Combined with Xanax, hmmm I don't know. Have you asked your doc? Give him a call and ask. I personally would experiment at home beforehand one night and see how it does, see if it makes me groggy later, etc.
