I resently switched drug stores the new one has a different generic Alprazolam WOW the same dose as ussual and it knocked me on my ass. How can there be such a big difference I had read about the brand vs generic and figured it was somewhat evagerated but not anymore. BTW they both tastes just as nasty

I have found the same thing. Generic klonopin and xanax aren't as strong as the original. My insurance only covers generic now, so I have to take 1 and a half pills to get close to the same effect of one pill. Sucks. Benzos are cheap though. I might just pay out of pocket next time for the real deal.

i take klonopin, not xanax, but i've taken xanax in a pinch before.

my observation is the same, that the generic is probably stronger than the real stuff.

I totally agree. I thought it was in my mind but I like the generic and it does feel stronger.
