I'm tired of the same old cocktail I've been taking!  Anyone else out there that's Bi-Polar and has ADD and would like to share your cocktail, I'd be very interested.  I'd like to see what meds others are on and what works for others.  I'm up for a change in meds and maybe this will give mje some ideas.  Here's what I'm on:

Lamictal 400 mg day
Respirdal    2 mg day
Effexor xr  90 mg day
Adderal  xr    90 mg day
gabapentin  1800 mg day
klonopin  1 mg day
xanax  3 mg day

I think i need something to spice it up.  Lemme know!!!

Hey,

I'm Bipolar type II. I still don't have an official ADD diagnosis, have to do some tests and stuff first, but my pdoc is 90% sure I have it.

So after the ADD diagnosis my cocktail will look something like this:

Lamictal 200 mg
Fluanxol 3 mg
Lexapro 10 mg
Concerta
Xanax as needed

I'm BP God-only-knows and ADD, but my pdoc doesn't want to medicate the ADD until after a neuropsych evaluation.  Right.  Okay.  The prescription medications I'm currently taking are:

Celebrex 200mg BID (pseudo-arthritis)
Lithium 900mg (bedtime)
Seroquel 50mg BID + 25mg PRN

It seems to be helping so far.  I just hope I can continue to get away with a relatively light cocktail.

I "just" have BP1 (dx just changed from BP2, lucky me), but my husband has BP1 and ADD and is currently taking:

Depakote 1000mg/day (taken as 500mg 2x a day, currently titrating up to 1600mg/day I think)
Klonopin 6mg/day (2mg 3x a day)
Ritalin 60mg/day (not sure how he spreads this out)
Suboxone 8mg/day (4mg 2x a day)
Ambien as needed (though he tends not to take it these days)
febrezeaddict
ummm wow.. lets see if i can remember all the drugs i'm on

Lithium 1500mg
Depakote 1250mg
Zonegran 200mg
Risperdal 4mg
Strattera 40mg
Klonopin .5mg
fluvoxomine 125mg
Fish oil
Asthma meds...

I just got formally dx'd with ADHD and here goes another change in meds. Yay me!

I am on before change: 300 mg lamictal, 1.5 mg klonopin, 20 mg cymbaltal, 300 mg seroquel

After change: starting on strattera at 25 mg and see how it works before I change doses, stay at 300 mg of lamictal, taper down my klonopin so I'm only taking 1 mg per day, going off my "what the hell am I taking this for" 20 mg dose of cymbalta, going down to 250 seroquel, maybe lower, as it is sucking the life out of me via sedation. Zzzzzzzz.......

My pdoc seems to think I may be able to go down on the seroquel more after I have been on strattera for a while. She also says this med could be awesome for me. And that I should know soon-like within a week. I am excited about starting the strattera. I have known that I have ADHD for a lonng time, but have never been treated for it. I hope it helps me. mel

I am now currently stable  and I have ADHD and BP2.

300mg lamictal, 250seroquel, 1.5klonopin, 60mg strattera-I think that's everything. I just recently stopped taking cymbalta and added strattera. Since adding the strattera, it has made a big diff. I am way more tolerant and focused. No side effects, except feeling a little buzzed since I upped to 60 mg(a few days ago). mel
JBella
I'm still wacked out!

20 mg methyphenidate
150 mg Zoloft
150 mg Seroquel  (can go up to 300, and chomp on 25 as needed during the day)
75 mg Topamax
5 mg Zyprexa (for those fun psychotic breakthroughs)
Nordette  (birth control for the sex I'm not having)
zinc, B-6/12/complex,

As I keep getting more interesting, so do my meds!

Psychiatrist has spoken with my occupational therapist and concluded that the ADD is a real and present problem.  We are now slowly adding Strattera to my cocktail.  18mg will soon be 25mg.  In the meantime (on a likely unrelated note), I am depressed and trapped in bureaucratic limbo by my own inaction.  Frig.

Well, I've just switched pdocs and addedd a neurologist to the mix, also a counselor and she is my favorite.  My old pdoc was treating me for BPII and ADD, but barely addressing my TLE, then I got a bad headache - 8 weeks so far.  My new pdoc addedd Dx: Panic d/o w/Agoraphobia

was on Lamictal 200
Effexor XR 225
Adderall 40

now on tegretol 500
neurontin 600
adderall 20 will have to go back up
Lodine
Klonopin .5 x 3
Lortab 7.5 x 3
Effexor 225
Am presently feeling much better, calmer, headache has not resolved hence the Lortab, am a little sleepy, but I guess that's too be expected with the klonopin, but the neurontin is really making me the most tired and making me eat a little more, but hopefully will resolve when i make Dr. A increase my Adderall back to 40.
Seroquel about 50 mg a night, but i get these from a friend.
have you ever tried vistaril, a friend gave me some that his pdoc prescribes for anxiety and i love it.

You almost got it right--it's "agoraphobia."
