  1. Thank you, everyone for the reassurance and good advice. My pdoc told me Trazodone would be less sedating than seroquel which i was on, so I was definitely surprised when i reacted that way. Ive been taking it about 9pm but I totally agree that I should take it closer to bedtime. I felt better last night (2nd dose). And the drugs.com info was very helpful thank you!
  2. Hi! I have Major Depression, PTSD, and issues with anxiety and insomnia. I take Zoloft and now Trazodone. My newish pdoc took me off Seroquel because I've gained almost 30lbs since November. He replaced it with Trazodone and told me the side effects, including the very comforting genital swelling, which made me apprehensive but I still took my first dose last night around nine. About 15 minutes go by and i stand up and realize the room is spinning and i couldn't walk straight. This continued until I laid down 30 minutes later. I have a history of fainting and lightheadness but I've never exper
  3. I met my current boyfriend on okcupid. I liked the site a lot, it's very low-pressure and the people that would message me seemed generally interested instead of getting generic messages like "Hey cutie" ugh totally hate that. There are personality questions and you are able to compare to others on their profile.
  4. I've been taking Seroquel (not xr) for the past few months and my dose was doubled about 6 weeks ago to 100mg. I take it along Effexor XR 225mg for mdd and gad, and I also take spironolactone for hormonal acne but it's also used as a diuretic. I'll be on my acne medication for another 4 months and then I'm done. Since taking 100mg of seroquel, I got a bladder infection and although it put up a fight I was able to get rid of it. Something that continues to be a problem is the urgency to urinate and I keep peeing my pants and it's super embarrassing! I've done some research and I understand t
  5. I love tea! There are so many teas that do wonderful things for your body. When I was going through a really bad episode of insomnia, I drank tea with Valerian root in it. Apparently, it's a pretty powerful sedative but isn't recommended for long term use. Chamomile is really great for sleep too! One of my favorites is Kava Tea. It's great for anxiety and really calms you down.
  6. I've had to have 2 prior authorizations in the past for Effexor XR and then for Seroquel. The only time I had an issue with it was with the Effexor because my doctor perscibed me regular Effexor and wouldn't accept it. For some reason, they approved the xr version which is probably better for me anyway.
  7. I take the xr version. I was taking 40mg prozac, and switched right to 150mg but everyone is different.
  8. At this point, I'm in the process of moving out. It happened a lot differently than I intended it to. The dirty truth is that I have been talking to an ex of mine recently, and my bf found out and went absolutely insane. This has all happened within the past day or so. At this point, I'm so ashamed of my self and so upset that I hurt him. I never wanted to do that. My mom is telling me that this is all happening for a reason, but inside I'm broken. I know that it's for the best, but this has all blown up in my face and I'm overwhelmed. I was having a really bad anxiety attack, and I don't ha
  9. If you think there was some kind of mistake with your case, you can always apply again. You will most likely get a different worker and might get a different result. I have had this happen in the past, a lot of workers actually want to help you.
  10. Thank you, Miron, for your suggestion. I've started looking at rooms for rent online and it's definitely do-able for me financially so that's good! Luckily, it doesn't snow here but we do get our fair share of rain! You both have given me a lot to think about and a lot to go off of, thanks.
  11. Thanks for your support, I appreciate it. I agree that it's time for me to be independent, I haven't ever lived on my own before so I'll need roommates! I've come to the reality that I'm not happy anymore and I need to do something about it. I've been trying to work on my MI but I feel like he's preventing me from getting better. I still don't know if I'll be able to go through with it, so I'm waiting for after Christmas before I make any decisions.
  12. I've been in a relationship with my boyfriend for almost 3 years and it seems to be getting worse and worse. We argue more every day and he's constantly putting me down, trying to make me feel worse about myself. I tried to be open and honest with him but it seems as if he disregards what I say when it comes to my feelings. He's made it clear that he's thinking of ending it with me and I feel the same way. You may be asking yourself why I just don't leave? Well, I have always been terrified of being alone, the meer thought of not being in a relationship makes me feel helpless and worthless.
  13. True, still not where I'd like to be though. The person below me likes chocolate more than vanilla?
  14. Thank you, Cutelildeadbear. I'm going into the Legal Aid office tomorrow so wish me luck I really hope all of this works out and even though it was the other drivers fault, I felt like I was the one being bullied. I don't take any benzo's but I would rather not have to take a drug test. Cops in my area are known to lie and are known for their brutality, not appreciated, but it isn't right that they are actually allowed to lie to you.
  15. Thanks everyone for the advice. Yes, finances are an issue but I want a lawyer. I live in California, I know that there is a legal aid here so I'm hoping they can help I'll call them today :-)
