  1. Public hospitals are generally hell. Try to make it to a private hospital. You'll be much happier there. With best wishes, Chris
  2. Today didn't work out either. I don't even want to talk about it - I just want to give up. Best, Chris
  3. I totally understand, and you do make coherent sense. I don't really have anyone like that, though. My whole family doesn't want to believe my illness. I used to have a *really* good caseworker, but I turned 18 and I had to get an adult caseworker. She just turned out to be a liar. I'll let you know how things go tomorrow. : ) Best, Chris
  4. Erika, I'm not going back in the hospital yet. Hell, I'm not even allowed back to Four Winds. : ( I just got back from Outpatient Behavioral Health, and I have an appointment with my old psychiatrist tomorrow at 930am. Right now, I am suppose to take extra Thorazine and Trilafon. I'll let everyone know how it goes tomorrow. Best, Chris
  5. I lost a few pounds, and you can look at my current cocktail. Yes...even on Zyprexa. It's all about eating healthy and doing 30 minutes of aerobic exercise (at least), daily. Best, Chris
  6. Yes, please tell your pdoc. Ask him about switching to Trilafon (after you mention these visual and auditory hallucinations). Trilafon is a wonderful drug and it has really helped me. He may be hesitant to prescribe it due to it being an old school AP, but it doesn't carry the big chance of side effects, and works wonderfully. For what it's worth, I think you have schizoaffective disorder. Good luck and keep me posted. Best, Chris
  7. I think I have aspergers - at least a mild form of it. I know I also have schizophrenia, so I can't be dx'ed with aspergers, but this is still curious to me, because, it could explain some of my actions. Can someone please explain what aspergers is, what it affects and possible warning signs? What I notice most about me is I am flat, I don't respond well to loud noises (I shun from them), and I don't do well in social situations. Thanks. Best, Chris
  8. Zyprexa and Seroquel would be at the top of my list. I had the best results on Zyprexa. I was at 30mg though, rx'ed for psychosis, not anxiety. And, I'm also on two benzos, so I don't know how helpful I've been. Overall, you want a sedating AP - so Seroquel and Zyprexa come to my mind. With Seroquel - the lower the dose, the better, but not too low (50-100mg), because, that will most likely knock you out. With Zyprexa, 5mg should cover it. Let me know... Best, Chris
  9. I was sitting down minding my own business when I awoke this morning. I then looked in the mirror. I looked like a bodybuilder. If you've seen a pic of me...I'm not. I felt my skin, and I could feel the muscles bulging. This was weird. Any similiar experiences? Best, Chris
  10. I've seen the ad around in magazines. *shrugs* If it helps one person, it's worth it. Best, Chris
  11. Matrizio, Glad I could help. I'm surprised you find relief at 5mg of Zyprexa, quite frankly. But, then again, that's coming from someone who can't get relief at already maxed out dosages of most of his APs. I was never sedated on Zyprexa. I'm really glad it works for you. Best, Chris PS Nice to "meet" you.
  12. I think I will. Thanks for listening and helping me out, Susan. As always *hugs*. Best, Chris
