  1. I started taking zyprexa a few weeks ago and although I haven't yet noticed the dreaded weight gain, I am exhausted. I was hoping to start exercising and get in shape over the summer but I'm absolutely beat. Does the worn down feeling go away after you've been on this drug for a while? Anyone have any advice for being active when your meds make you so tired?
  2. Assuming you didn't work? Ah, you're ruining the fun, because what I'd do is quit my job in spectacular fashion then spend a lot of time in the woods.
  3. Get to a doctor and get back on whichever meds have helped in the past. You might be ok now, but you know better than anyone that it won't last forever.
  4. Well Grr......the state wouldn't answer my question unless I fill out an official complaint about my health insurer, and I'm afriad to do that because A. I'm licensed by that department and work for a Property & Casualty insurer in MT and B. I'm afraid that the complaint about the health insurer might somehow get back to the crazy lady that works in my HR department and then she'll know I have a diagnosis.
  5. I take mine 600 mg morning and 600 mg night. I had horrible symptoms like you're discribing for about a year and then everything went away except the drinking and peeing. My memory isn't as sharp as it used to be either, but it's the price you pay.
  6. A couple years ago I was on Geodon and I felt like it helped me, but it made me extremely sensitive to light to the point that I couldn't open my eyes outdoors. Does anyone know if this side effect is one that might fade over time? I'm frustrated with medicine roulette and I know that this med works, it's just that the one side effect was not tolerable. Blarg.
  7. You have a medical condition that prevents you from working. I think that's all that should need to be said.
  8. Doesn't bother me. You've gotta be able to laugh at yourself. This kid at work though, he heard about somebody who had a breakdown and told us all about it and laaaaaaughed...that offends me.
  9. In the winter I eat a huge dinner (ugh) and watch tv until about 8 when I zonk. In the summer I eat a healthy dinner, exercise, watch tv for like an hour.
  10. I'm a fan of peppermint tea.
  11. A second cat. Despite their reputation, most cats don't really like being alone.
  12. ladybug...I hadn't thought of coding. I'll have to ask about that.
  13. I felt like that a few weeks ago...I get hallacious winter depression. I don't really know what to say other than I know the feeling, so you aren't alone. *cyber hugs*
  14. Hmmmm. If it helped the anxiety, maybe you could switch to some kind of pop (soda?) or something since those probably have less caffeine than an energy drink!
