wifezilla
So, like the title says, hubby gets a rash. He has been on lamictal for about a 8 months (?) or so. At first, I did not make the connection that rash + lamictal = BAD. I thought maybe he had shingles...a friend of our recently had that and we had all just had viral cooties for the last month. Then my brain kicks in "Hey...wait a minute...he is taking lamictal. DOH!" So I freak out, tell him to call his doctor, start looking up pictured of Steven Johnson's syndrome (ewwww), and generally spazzing. He looks at me like I am nuts and goes to Walmart and gets some fungus cream. While he is getting better, he totally blew off all of my concerns about lamictal and rashes. Now he is super smug that he didn't have to pay the doctor to tell him what the rash was. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr At this point I am just venting. That man just likes to give me heart failure....I swear! I did ask him "Your life insurance is paid up...right?".

wifezilla
Hubby is exceptionally stubborn when it comes to doctors. Have you read my other posts? 20 YEARS before he finally tried med compliance. If he really had "THE RASH" he wouldn't go to the doctor until his nose fell off. Seriously. If he wasn't such a great guy, I would choke him! LOL
