HaloGirl66
If I take three 10mg Adderall XR pills does it have the same effect as one 30mg Adderall XR? Common sense tells me it should but with these time-release things I am never quite sure. HG66
Penny Century
penny's unscientific answer: my husband takes 15mg, i take 30, one day i was late picking up a refill and took 2 of his. felt the same as my 30.
Velvet Elvis
I'd think it should be the same. The standard release comes in a 30mg tablet so you couldn't get a dose so high as to be harmful that way. The worst that could happen is that you'd get a less effective dose. I'd be willing to wager that it's pretty much the same though.

jonathanupr
3 10 mg xrs should give you the same effect as the 30 mg xr pill....... you could just sprinkle all the contents of the 3 on pudding and eat it that way, i heard somethin of the efficacy being pretty good in doing that.... If you take the 3 10mg xr pills one at a time throughout the day during an 8 hr period the Adderall won't seem as strong..... i don't have the link, but there was some research that I'd read that stated that amphetamine when taking in one big dose has more of an impact on one, rather than taking the dose split up throughout an 8 hr period.
