Guest montyface
ooops, f'd up the last post. I have been on effexor for about 10 days and am curious to find out if effexor is more neutral, makes you gain, or lose. If it makes you gain does anyone know why these meds do that and what you can do to combat it? I know wellbutrin is popular for the gain but because I have anxiety and just started this I dont see adding something already or maybe ever since wellbutrin can/will more then likely make the anxiety more. ~nestling~
I lost a fair bit on efexor alone. Several pounds the first week. (I scarily went down to 6 stone 8). Then it kind of evened out.
witchywoman
When I was on Effexor, I found it weight neutral. I was exercising and trying to lose a few lbs, and had no trouble doing it. Unfortunately it pooped out on me.
dianebea
I've lost weight on Effexor---or maybe it's the trazadone. I added both in December and have lost almost 15 lbs. I already was losing weight with Topamax and WB XL. I should add that I'm on a very low dose of Effexor (75 mg). dianebea
