Beth
Are there any adverse effects due to missing a dose of Seroquel? How about quitting cold-turkey? Not that I plan on doing so, but I'm curious.
wifezilla
Seroquel is one of the meds my husband only takes as needed once in a while. I don't think missing a dose is going to mess you up too bad...BUT everyone reacts differently to these things. You might want to give your doctor a quick call. ehygon
I don't see you suffering from a single missed dose, unless you're bursting at the seams with whatever symptoms from your afflictions, and seroquel is what keeps you together. I hope that didn't come off too bitchy, but it's true
Batou
For me missing a dose of Seroquel results in nasty insomnia because I take it at bedtime. I have had to quit cold-turkey, pdoc's orders, and I felt horrible but I also had to cold turkey a few other meds at the same time so no way to tell if the Seroquel played any part. What's your dosage and what time of day do you take it?
borzage
I get ruminations if I even reduce my dose. I was pretty effin insane before I went on it, though.

You may experience some withdrawal type symptoms whens skipping a dose. I am currently cutting down from 900mg-->600mg/day and I miss that lunchtime dose some days - big time. However unlike some other medications, missing a dose is unlikely to cause major problems. Medical advice on the PI sheet is to just resume taking your next scheduled dose. A lot of this depends on how frequently you take it and at what dose. Some people take it 4 times per day, others just once.
