Loon-A-TiK
As I've said, I've run out of AAP drugs to try, and now we're going for the older ones. I've started with small doses of Haldol and if all goes well, we're going up. It is clear based on my symptoms that we need to add another mood stabilizer. The AAP drugs provided a bit of that. Do you know if Haldol is going to do that too? Do you think I should think more on trading the Barbie-effect of Dope-a-max for the mood stabilization? Loon-A-TiK
Well, Haldol just puts me to sleep WORSE than Seroquel. I mean BAD. I'd rather be on Seroquel. I've got to communicate this to my pnurse.
hypercat
I knew someone who was BP1 and was doing very well on Haldol (in addition to a valproic acid). I believe it was 5 mg but I am not sure. High dosages of Haldol tend to produce muscle stiffness, she got pills for that, they are called Akineton here
Mechante
I'm interested in this thread because my pdoc is considering Haldol as an option for me. Currently on Risperdal and let's just say it's causing some problems. heh.
