Little-Blue-Elly
Hi, really clutching at straws on this one, ive just started bleeding after having sex for the last couple of times, it doesnt hurt but its a bit freaky! I went to the Doc today who done a couple of tests to be sent off and she noticed my cervix started bleeding a little after the swab also - hmm. How could Prozac affect my cervix? Im sure its just a coincidence but as I said, clutching at straws!!
AirMarshall
Possible, but highly unlikely. It is not listed as a side effect occuring in 1% or more of trial users. Bleeding is listed as having been reported during large scale trials of more than 10,000 users, but it may have been a single person, and the report does NOT mean that their was or was not any connection to Prozac. In these trials any illness or complaint is reported, e.g. stubbed toes and lower back pain a.m.
Panz
Not to be too graphic, but it happens to me a lot...I have always had a easy to bleed cervix.. I am likely getting ready for menopause at my age, so a bit of bleeding happens sometimes. Also some girls spot or bleed a bit near ovulation. While it doesn't seem really dangerous, I'm glad you checked it out with your doc. I hope everything is ok, it can really kill the mood when something like this happens
