Is 30mg the starting dose for cymbalta?

Starting dose is typically 30 mg increased to 60 mg after two weeks. That's the highest dose recommended by the manufacturer, but I was on 90 mg at one point (prescribed by my pdoc) and I know of several people here who went as high as 120 mg. But 60 mg usually does the trick for most people.

I was told the correct increase is being on 30mg for 3 days and then bump up to 60mgs. I went up to 90mg to see if that would help my anxiety that I could still feel. It helped for a bit then I think it craped out on me...

But it looks as of now SSRI and SNRI were not what I should have been taking

I was on 30 mg for 2 weeks and then went to 60 mg. I think there's a lot of flexibility with this drug. As the other posts said, 60 is the recommended therapeutic dose.
