Food not Bombs

Recommended Posts

Thought it would be harmless to attend an event hosted by Food not Bombs. It is a peace group that distributes cooked meals from leftovers from the food industry to feed anyone and everyone who wants. I just read a San Francisco paper saying that the FBI considers it to be a Terrorist group. What a joke. So a few could be extreme anarchists, but labeling the group of peace activists that are from all over North America and Europeans is ridiculous. Strange goverment.

An FBI counterterrorism official showed the class, at the University of Texas in Austin, 35 slides listing militia, neo-Nazi and Islamist groups. Senior Special Agent Charles Rasner said one slide, labeled "Anarchism," was a federal analyst's list of groups that people intent on terrorism might associate with.

The list included Food Not Bombs, which mainly serves vegetarian food to homeless people, and

Not that capitalism has done us any better. Nobody ever killed anyone for money before.

Not that I'm an anarchist. I'm sympathetic though. If you're going to talk shit about anarchism, know somthing about it. (aimed at the FBI and black clad 7th graders with anarchy signs on their trapper keepers, not AM) (unless AM has an anarchy sign on his trapper keeper)
