HazelBLK Posted October 4, 2006 Share Posted October 4, 2006 The last few days have been tough. Reading about the Foley/Hastert scandals have really taken a toll on me. Anyone who abuses their power that way and takes advantage of underaged kids should be prosecuted. I'm still really messed up when I hear stories like these and it seems rampant amoung those in control of our country (USA). I have no desire to politicize this in terms of Democrats versus Republicans but I am very freaked out about this administration and like many survivors of childhood sexual abuse I am REALLY TRIGGERED and worried about myself because... things have been really bad for me this past two days. I hope everyone else is hanging in there. Wish me luck becuase I know I have been and will be experiencing some form of DID for a while. I wish I could stop. I need help now, but where to go? Can you schedule some extra phone and face time with your pdoc and/or tdoc and maybe ask if you can up you anti-anxiety meds(if you take them) while you calm down? Also can you contact your favorite/regular DID site and/or something like moodgarden.org. In the meantime I'd suggest a serious break from the sicko news. Theres this one pinned site here that shares nothing but good news. I had it bookmarked but I lost it. Maybe someone will chime in with the link. It may not be a huge amount of news but it's great to know good stuff is going on in the news. And of course stay here and talk it out as best as possible. It sickens me too that men in power can so wantonly abuse kids all over the world. lilie Posted October 5, 2006 Share Posted October 5, 2006 democrats are limp willies in my opinion. they disgust me. they don't raise a fuss because they probably have just as many skeletons in the closet as the republicans. now knowing the democrats it's probably screwing the nanny or gardener(or having illegal ones), embezzlement , having their adulterously created illegal love children of every nationality stashed away, or doing massive illegal favors for friends. It's not always sex but this pedophilia ring takes the cake.
