Creepy side effect

It does make me sleep...it knocks me out of this world, my problem is that sometimes when I wake up...I'm awake and aware, but I can't speak, open my eyes or move for a varied length of time. It's pretty upsetting to me and sometimes triggers a panic attack...anyone else have this problem or know what it's called? is it dangerous?

I don't know about YOUR experiences with traz, but for me that drug is of the debbill.

It only SOMETIMES makes me sleep, but usually just partially paralyzes my body but not my mind. If I do sleep, the dreams are so wickedly horrible, it's just not worth it. And the hangover is worse than a night on the town.

I'm thinking of giving Rozerem a try, but there is so much bad s/e info posted on the boards about it.

That sleep paralysis thing happens to me sometimes too, though I don't know the cause. It's scary though. It's like, yeah I'm awake but I'm trapped in the dark in this body that won't move.

It only happens to me if I awake suddenly. And I only awake suddenly if I'm having a nightmare, so it's always scary when it happens.

That happened to me, too, when I was on Trazodone. It's scary.
