sdjeff
Hello, After over 20 failed drug trials, my pdoc finally put me on Parnate. I also have a chronic pain condition. Since Parnate reacts badly with opoid based paikillers, my doc has been trying NSAIDS. After trying Voltaren, Zanaflex and another I can't remember, We are going to try some more serious Anti inflammatories. Since these drugs he wants to try are hard on the digestive system, we are trying to get my GERD and IBS under control first. I was wondering if there was anyway to check MAOI interactions against a general list of drugs that affect IBS and the more hard core antiinflammatories. AirMarshall
My preference: http://www.drugs.com/drug_interactions.html Aidsmeds is good, but I've found a number of gaps in its coverage. To each his own. Good luck on the med search. a.m.

mel1
Should have been more specific. I have a chronic/acute pain problem since my car accident two years ago. I recently was prescribed Arthrotec because my opiod-based painkillers stopped working, and they never gave me complete or even close to complete pain relief. Since I started Arthrotec, I have been pain free with no side effects. It doesn't have interactions with very many drugs. It is a strong anti-inflammatory w/ a buffer for your tummy to cut the risk of getting ulcers or what not from the drug. Ask your docc. about it.
