chinacat
OK, first let me preface this by stating that I have majorely weird reactions to some meds, and altho I am a huge fam of generics, disdcovered immediately that the generic Wellbutrin really screwed me up. That being said, has any one had similar problems with generic Zoloft? I have been on the same meds for over a year, no problems. But the last few weeks, I am nauseous al the time. This is NOT normal for me. Really, lots of stomach gas and bad nausea--like when I was preggers (which I am not thank you for asking) Tried some Maalox today--just a hint, if you have Crohn's, STAY AWAY FROM THE MAALOX!!! Its ike a laxative-- So it occurs to me, as I go thru the usual "whats changed" that whats changed is the generic Zoloft I am now taking. I am calling the pdoc on Monday, for sure, and will go back on the "name brand" even tho it costs more-- But I would sure like to hear if anyone else has had a reaction to generic Zoloft-- china
HaloGirl66
I didn't find any difference with the brand & generic. Sorry to hear your tummy is so unhappy.
chinacat
What's odd is that I have been on it about 3 weeks--and slowly but surely, I am getting all the side effects you get when you start Zoloft, or end up on too much--sweaty, trouble sleeping, the nausea, the whole 9 yards. So tnite, I cut one of the little muthas in half-- we'll see what happens with "50 mgs"--tho I think its more-- china
Velvet Elvis
Those are all the side effects I had on the name brand stuff. Before you go back to the expensive stuff, check and see if you can get the generic from a different manufacturer. I'd look it up, but it's 3:30 in the morning. chinacat
See? Thats why we pay you the big bucks--I never thought of that. Although the 50 mgs. seemed to do the trick-- thanks kiddo0- china
