bluebeard
Sorry to enquire again, what ap is most commonly used for obsessive and anxiety problems I tried the anti depressant clomipramine but it just gave me a dry mouth and constipation
Unregistered
Olanzapine or seroquel seem favourite, followed by risperdal. But the AAP's only seem to be listed as an adjunct to an SSRI for OCD. Which AD's have you tried?

Velvet Elvis
Actualy, APs worked a lot better than SSRIs for me. Seroquel in particular.
Sunshine
Cymbalta, a multiple reuptake inhibitor (serotonin and norepinephrine) worked great for me, though I'm not sure what I was dealing with at the time was truly OCD or just severe anxiety/depression. One of my biggest problem was rumination. I wasn't worrying, I just kept going over and over the same things in my mind, accompanied by some mildly compulsive behavior (which I never 'fessed up to to my pdoc). Cymbalta kicked both in the ass and was also the only med that had any effect on a two-year long bout of depression.
