Greenyflower
I've done that. Not with Cymbalta, though. Once, I went ahead and took them, again, as it turned out. Nothing awful. Just very wired and weird all day. I did the same thing later on, and didn't take any extra, but kept the dose with me just in case. Six or seven hours later, I could tell I hadn't taken them in the morning and so took them then.
resonance
Sometimes it says what you're supposed to do on the paper that comes with the medication. I believe you can also get that online at the med's website.
LikeMinded
In terms of Cymbalta specifically, I find missing a dose to be far worse. I must have some kind of norepinephrine deficit, since if I even as much halve the dose, I start getting dizzy, and eventually, melancholic. Taking too much Cymbalta (I'm going to go off of what happened when my PDoc tried to put me on 120mg Cymbalta) gave me some stomach upset, that was it. Dweii
That's why I have routines. Morning dose the first thing when I wake up. Afternoon dose at 5 pm. with an alarm on my cell phone. Without that, I'd be screwed.
Dee
I remember when I was on Effexor I accidentally double dosed one morning and it was like I was on speed! It wasn't entirely unpleasant, but it inspired me to by my first pill box.
Loon-A-TiK
my mom tells me all the time that i look spaced out on my meds, even though no one else agrees with her (see med list below). those aren't meds that would necessarily produce the zombie effect
