Back on Lamictal

Well went back to the pdoc (well really a nurse practitioner) today and she handed me the lamictal starter pack. Been on it before. Got a tiny rash on my foot but the annoying side effect I got was the inability to urinate. It was so bad I had to go to the ER for drainage. She totally forgot about this, and said it isn't a side effect of lamictal and I shouldn't worry about it. I am going to start it again anyway, and hope that it doesn't happen again. I guess my question is has this happened to anyone else? Should I take the titration more slowly this time? I guess I'm just ranting here, sorry. I'm just frustrated. I guess I'll give it a go and see what happens.
