mel1
I was wondering if my med combo was in the norm as far as BP is concerned- in other words, I take an AD,mood stabilizer, atyp. AP, and benzo. Does anyone else take that muli-variety of meds?
Batou
Yep. I take Lamictal, Trilpetal, klonopin, and Zyprexa. But now true AD, unless you count the AD effects of Lamictal. There is not an AD I can't that I know anymore, always leads to cycling. Erika
energ
hoo hoo! Boy, do I take a variety. 2 AD's, AP, mood stabilizer, Beta blocker, Benzo and a Barbituate mix for migraines. Fuck, that's 7. I thought it was only 5...
kdn
dont take a benzo, as pee-doc knows that im an addict (recovering, but an addict still), but i do take prozac, trileptal, seroquel & trazodone, & it seems to help keep me wrapped up snug :-)
Fiona
I take Lamictal, Seroquel, and Parnate for unipolar depression. So the combination is not that unusual. Fiona
Ocracoker16
That combo doesn't seem to be at all unusual for bp 2. The foundation of that kind of a combo is usually a mood stabilizer like Lamictal. An antidepressant like the Cymbalta is good to have as long as it doesn't make you manic. An atypical antipsychotic like Seroquel is a good anti-manic. Taking a benzo like Klonopin can help with other anxiety conditions. The most important thing though is how it is working for you. Katie
