mel1
I went on a drug interaction site and put in my current medications, minus my pain meds for chronic, acute pain, and added marijuana. Interestingly, there were no reported med. interactions with marijuana, yet, with my pain pills (tramadol, arthrotec) there were 2 major interactions. Does anyone know or have any experience with taking marijuana with multiple psych. meds.? Do they prescribe medical marijuana for pain? I keep developing tolerance for the tramadol and I feel like it is not worth it to take it as it doesn't seem to do much for my pain. The Arthrotec has many serious possible side effects and interactions. The tramadol also has interactions. This is my current coctail: 300 mg. of lamictal, 300 mg. of Seroquel, 1.5 mg of klonopin, 20 mg. of Prozac, Yasmin(bc). I'm not including the Arthrotec or tramadol because I don't want to take those anymore.
AirMarshall
Dealing with chronic pain is toughest things to do, besides being MI. Lack of interaction data while good is not necessarily an indicator of no problems. The FDA doesn't encourage pharma work with mj, so I suspect that the only time we find interactions listed is when there is an obvious and substantial chemical danger. Probably the biggest danger that you face is from experiencing some sort of psychotic reaction, which is completely unpredictable. The conventional wisdom is that bipolars are more susceptible to this. Your Seroquel might provide some prophilactic protection. Who knows. a.m.
