medication withdrawal and sleep (and dreams!)

Recommended Posts

hi all,

i have been having weird dreams recently, due to klonopin withdrawal. anyways, i always thought my dreams had interpretive power, i always have weird ones before something major happens, but i can never predict a real event. so just last night i finally had one that had some real interpretive power: the colts won the superbowl on the TV in my dream and i briefly teleported onto the football field. i dont know if anyone wants to bet on my ESP, but who knows, right? we'll see. so, BET ON THE COLTS BITCHES!! lol

so last night i finally was able to crash, and MAN did i crash... ive had the flu on top of everything else. really sucks. now im in the lab, and after like 5 days as of today of no klonopin i feel much better. i had the worst panic attacks the other days though.

I just want to know when you "teleported", what position were you playing?

thanks peeps.. i think i called it!! ;) im sleeping better.. nothing really helped except for some blood pressure medication i had.. like half a diovan at night, put me right out and calmed me down. it was either that or the seroquel, or a trip to the ER..

i was really freaking out, i just lost my old health insurance and am in transit between carriers (although both plans are thru aetna, figures...), so im hoping that my pdoc is carried on the new plan too. its probably not the best idea, but im off my meds until i can get in to see the pdoc. the antidepressant im prescribed (zoloft) makes me feel anxious and sick like im gonna hurl.

i have an appointment in like a week, and if i dont get the new insurance card i think they should be able to bill the company anyway, or at least thats what the HR guy in the graduate dean's office told me at my school, since i got the group ID # and whatever it is they use to bill them. hopefully one less thing to worry about.

update two: turned out my pdoc appointment was today.. we talked, now im on pexeva, which is a fancy name for paroxetine, aka paxil (instead of zoloft), AND back on the klonopin. feeling much better, much calmer. sucks to be "hooked" to benzos, but there've been a lot worse drugs floating around in my circles recently and i can deal with it.
