Maddy
http://www.beliefnet.com/blogs/beyondblue/...ion-q-with.html I thought that this may be of interest since the topic of which meds "pack on the pounds" is a question that appears to come up often. From the article-- A: Here is how I rank the various drugs for weight-gain potential: 1. Clozaril (clozapine) 2. Zyprexa (olanzapine) 3. Remeron (mirtazapine) 4. Seroquel (quetiapine) 5. Depakote (divalproex) 6. Paxil (paroxetine) I would recommend reading the whole article because the interview isn't just about which drugs cause weight gain but also what people can do themselves to help combat it when they are taking these psychotropic medications. He also discusses the lack of information available in the P.I. sheets regarding potential weight gain and also how it is listed or not. Lots of information that may be of use to people. Hope it helps answer some questions.
