Greenyflower
i was just curious if meds worked quicker when you are already on them. Sadly, no. It's going to be the same three weeks, give or take. Sucks, huh?
Maceo
It's very subjective but it will probably be 2 weeks at least. I wouldn't get your hopes up. Lexapro doses above 20mg haven't been proven to be anymore effective than 20 =[ tell us how it goes though.
BIMBO
It's very subjective but it will probably be 2 weeks at least. I wouldn't get your hopes up. Lexapro doses above 20mg haven't been proven to be anymore effective than 20 =[ tell us how it goes though. I went to my doc because i've been on 20mg of lexapro for over 2 months and its helped with anxiety but not depression & ive been suicidal, so she's doubled my dosage. This freaks me out that it might be all for nothing!!!
KG85
Ive been on as much as 40 mg of lex a day, sometimes 80 by accident, and I definetly feel an increase in mood stability/anxiety when I increase the dose. I feel it within about 10 mins as well. So i guess im a bit of a freak in that regard.
