Hi!

Just upped mine to 56. No throat irritations, but I am constanly sucking my teeth because of the production of saliva. The tongue is swollen with bump that line the side. Supersensitive to spicy foods. Even regular food burns alittle. Just got out of the hospital for kidney stones. Trouble shooting the cause. I thought it might be cause by dehydration due to the surgery for the stones and frequent urination. Well I have to think it's the concerta. This morning 4 AM swollen tongue and speech affected. Tongue seemed to be wanting to hug the roof of the mouth. Didn't take dose as usual @6. Went to work at 6:30; started feeling better with tongue. Decided at about 9:30 to take my concerta. Well later on about 2 to 3 hour started sucking the saliva again. I think this also contributes to the aggrivation and swelling of the tongue. There also seems to be a pattern that coincides the extended release. Feeling better then back to the swollen tongue and sucking saliva. Couple hours after tne dose and later on just about 4 when the extended release kicks in. Well It all points in that direction. I am experiencing it now. Well I am going to take a benadryl and see if that works. If it does, this mornings Cocerta would be my lasts. If not Ear, nose and throat MD. OR? I'll keep this page open while I take the benadryl and let you know what happens. Its 10:45 here, and because of the Concerta I don't have to worring too much about loss of sleep Best of Luck, You're probely not taking now by the look of the date.
