mamayaya
I just cant do it anymore. I'm sooooo tired all the time. I have a 3 1/2-year-old and a 1-year-old and I work full time at home. I feel like i sleep constantly and could sleep even more than I do. I'm so tired right now I can barely keep my eyes open and I slept all day! I have to stay awake for my 2 little ones. What is the offender? The Zyprexa and Xanax? I gotta do something to feel peppier. This cannot last for me.
OreoKitty
I take provigil at various doses depending on my mood--from 100mg to 400mg. It is a stimulant (more mild than others). This seems to help my med fatigue and fogginess. Of course, being BP, this is the med I stop immediately if I start getting manic. It works well for me, but I don't know if it would add to your anxiety, etc. Oreo
misscat
First off, I am not a medical professional so this is just my own opinion. From what I know of zyprexa it can cause drowsiness in some people. Xanax made me very drowsy when I was taking it, so I only took it at night. Sorry I cant be more helpful. Miss C. borzage
Try taking less Xanax, like .25mg. I don't know why that drug is prescribed at 1mg prn - taking it at that dose is a good way to build up a tolerance, and that's the last thing you want. Cetkat
I don't think it's the Xanax... you would have noticed it, especially with prn. It can make you drowsy, but not usually that much - and only for a short time after taking it. An easy way to rule it out would be to not take it one day & see if you still get tired. None of your meds made me tired, personally. It could be the Zyprexa though. It has the tendency to make people gain weight by slowing their metabolisim, and the PI sheet does state "Somnolence was a commonly reported adverse event associated with olanzapine treatment, occurring at an incidence of 26% in olanzapine patients compared to 15% in placebo patients. This adverse event was also dose related." Lamictal interfered with my sleep.. but you're only at 25mg. It also doesn't sound like sleep-deprivation. I notice you're on Synthroid. When is the last time you had your Thyroid levels checked?
