HaloGirl66
As I am my doctors only adult ADD patient, we begged be to give VyVanse a chance. I now have a month's free supply and will start on it tomorrow. I told him straigh out that I can't afford to stay on it long term and that I think it is a marketing ploy since Adderall XR is going generic, so we will see. I'll update tomorrow and let you know how it goes.
Velvet Elvis
I don't think you meant to close this so I opened it. If you did, feel free to close it back.
tek
I was pretty leery of the drug, too...but my pdoc has a couple of patients on it that LOVE it. She did say they all reported that it seemed to take a few hours to really kick in though. One of them takes a small dose of Adderall IR (instant release) first thing in the morning to tide them over until the Vyvanse begins working. Other than that, the reports are that it really does last ALL day and there are zero problems with getting to bed at a decent time. I'm tempted to give it a try, myself.
