tek
The nifty space-saving "Posts in this topic" tree at the bottom of each post is admittedly a good feature, but I liked the old way better. I hate having to click on each post to read it. Then, when I'm done with the topic, I have to hit "back" about a thousand times to return to the forum or my control panel, or whatever. Is there a skin or setting somewhere that I can be old school? Thanks!
Velvet Elvis
It's under options in the top right hand corner of the topic bar. For really long threads I'll often browse with two browser windows tiled, one in threaded mode and one in linear.
tek
Ah, of course I never noticed that. It doesn't seem to work, though. It's currently set to "Outline", so I tried clicking the other two and nothing changed. Never mind, it worked on refresh.
tek
I should've asked before, but... is there any way to specify this as a permanent setting? It's only a little less anoying to go to options > standard on every post I read, but still. It'd be great if I could just adjust this in user settings or something.
