My med coctail is making me very tired. (Lyrica, gabitril, luvox). How do I combat this. I don't have time to search the internet rite now. Pdoc appt very soon (less than 10 hrs). What shall I do? I'm tired as hell all the time. It's making my relationship and job tough. I like what it's doing to my anxiety though. Help!

Provigil helped me a lot. My butt was dragging and I wasn't as focused as a should have been at work. I use provigil and it works for me. My dose goes up and down depending on where I'm at--from 100mg to 400mg. I also drop it completely if I am starting to go hypomanic or manic.

Thanks Oreo. I asked for that approach. My pdoc didn't like it. He really didn't want to compound my cocktail anymore at this point (not to mention I'm out of insurance-covered visits so I won't be seeing him as regularly).

We decided that luvox was an SSRI that was one of the more sedating one's and that maybe we should switch that up to one that's not so sedating. My main approach with luvox was that it was recommended on here as being one with low risk of sexual side effects (along with lexapro). Lexapro exacerbated my TMJ so I gave luvox a try. It's been sedating the fuck out of me so we decided to switch to prozac. I don't know where prozac stands with sexual side effect potential or sedation potential but I guess we're giving it a go. Please advise if you have anything to add. I like your input!

My diagnosis: OCD, GAD, PTSD

My regimen as it stands now

taper off 250mg/day luvox and start prozac

lyrica 600 mg/day (depending on how efficient I need to be that day at work)

gabitril 16 mg/day (PRN - usually at night since I get cognitive delays)

and of course therapy, therapy, therapy!!!!
