1st time geodon-er

ive done a search here at the boards but i want to ask some questions anyway.

my dr didnt mention about taking geodon with food. but ive read a lot of people saying you should to help the drug absorb better. true?

Also, dr told me to take 40mg all at once at night. if i take it all at once, say with dinner, will it knock me out before bedtime?

many people have mentioned it being better to split the dose, 1/2 in the AM, 1/2 in the PM. true? if so, why? theyre in capsules so i really cant split it anyway. im just wondering why it would be better, if it is.

im gonnaa take my 1st dose tonight. how soon before i start to feel better from the depression?

ive read it can make some people hypo or manic. how likely is this to happen? will it wear off after i get to the right dose?

how can it be considered a MS (i know its an AP) if it can make you manic???

OH! and what about my anxiety. its kicking my ass but if geodon can make you hypo how does that help with anxiety. theyre taking me off my klonopin.

Also, dr told me to take 40mg all at once at night. if i take it all at once, say with dinner, will it knock me out before bedtime? It may, it depends. For me it takes about 2-3 hours before it knocks me out. It probably depends on you. Lately it's not even making me tired.
