trg247
Hi: My doctor decided to lower my Nardil dosage from 45mg to 30mg today due to some nasty side effects that were out of the ordinary. The question is according to the majority of sites I have been on the therapuetic level is 60mg then after awhile it is slowly reduced. Needless to say I am confused. The drug appeared to be working but it was screwing with my blood pressure and the rest of my body so the change took place, he believes the rewards outweigh the risk ........ I believe he is a jackass. take care trg247

Therapeutic level is usually measured in clinical trials based on a mean dosage that the majority of patients responded to. For some people, lower than therapeutic level as defined by the PI sheet is adequate; others might require more, provided that they are not taking a dosage that is toxic. If 30mg works, then it's probably fine.
