Caillech
I was given Zyprexa Zydis as an add prn med. Pdoc told me that I wouldnt gain weight on it if I only took it occasionally. Is this true?
IHeartAAPs
Zyprexa can be a big weight gainer, but I tend to agree with your pdoc. It seems unlikely that you would gain weight if you just take it prn.
lysergia
I was given Zypreza Zydis as an add prn med. Pdoc told me that I wouldnt gain weight on it if I only took it occasionally. Is this true? i took the Zydis form for awhile prn a couple of years ago. (loved the under-the-tongue immediacy). i gained no weight, and i'm prone to gain weight on APs (and most ADs too). it worked really well for me when i needed it. Maddy
My niece never gained weight from it. She only gained weight from AAPs after she was put on Seroquel for mood stabilization. (100 mgs am and pm)
Caillech
Thanks guys. I took one the night before last. I am hoping that it doesnt cause to much weight gain. I am already about fifty lbs overweight. I dont need anymore.
netsavy006
I've heard the zydis form of zyprexa may help to reduce the weight gain issue but taking it prn I bet would reduce the risk even further.
